それを口に運ぶものとしてお箸が発生したと言われています。

中国の殷の時代に発生した二本棒のお箸は、
稲作文化とともに日本に伝来しました。
＊殷（いん）の時代とは、中国王朝で紀元前17世紀頃 - 紀元前1046年。

現在の箸のルーツに２つの説があります。
その１つが二本棒の箸
二本棒の箸は、中国が発祥地とされています。
There are 2 opinions in the roots of the present chopsticks. One is two sticks chopsticks. It is said that two sticks chopsticks is a home which generates in China.
「礼記」（紀元前1000年～100年）に世界で初めて「箸」という文字が記載されています。日本には、推古天皇15年（607年）の時、遣隋使がもたらし、
聖徳太子が匙とセットで箸をつかったのが日本で最初とされています。
中国から日本に入ってきた寸胴の2本棒のお箸は、「はさむ」お箸。

現在の箸のルーツに２つの説があります。
中国から入ってきた寸胴の二本棒のお箸と
日本古来のお箸が「竹折箸」です。

一本の竹の中央を薄く削り折り曲げて
ピンセットのように摘む事ができる「竹折箸」
「竹折箸」は、神様にお供えする神饌など手づかみできない
ものを摘むために古よりつかわれていた日本古来のお箸の形態です。今でも新嘗祭や大嘗祭でも使われています。

＊新嘗祭（にいなめさい）（にいなめのまつり）又は音読して（しんじょうさい）ともいう。宮中の儀式の一つで，11月23日天皇が五穀の新穀を天神地祇（てんじんちぎ）に供え，天皇みずから食してその年の収穫に感謝する。一年一度のを〈新嘗〉，天皇一代一度のを〈大嘗〉と区別するようになった。
＊大嘗祭（おおにえのまつり）：天皇に即位して最初の新嘗祭を大嘗祭と呼ぶ。
＊現代でも、新嘗祭まで新米を口にしない習慣も稀に残っているとの事。

お箸は、当初神に食べ物を供える為に使われていた祭器でした。
手づかみできないものをつまむ日本古来のピンセットの
ような形の竹折箸です。
神々は、まず箸に依りつき、それを使ってお供えした食事を召されると
いわれています。

そして、箸は神々の依り代でもありますので霊木で作ることを
常としました。
松、柳、杉、桧（ひのき）などの霊木で作られました。
神様に供える祭器としてのお箸は、上述の霊木を使い
中太両細箸(中太両口箸）です。

柳中太両口箸（中太両細箸）

お箸は、古くより神々の箸と言われてきました。神々は、まず箸に依りつき、その箸を使ってお供えした食事を召されるといわれています。

神様にお供えした神饌（しんせん）を神様が召され
その後に人が頂くことで、神様のご加護をいただくと
いう意味で祝い箸に使う中太両口箸（両細箸）があります。

そのお箸は、古くより霊木といわれている柳、杉、桧、松など
をお箸を作る事を常とされてきました。

神の依代（よりしろ）とは、心霊が依り憑く（よりつく）対象物の事。
お正月で使われる柳の中太両細箸（中太両口箸）などがその（ハレの日に使う箸）代表です。
＊近年は、お正月の祝い箸の素材は、アスペン素材が多く市場で
使われています。

もちろん、神様と人が共にいただくという中太両細箸（中太両口箸）と
いう同じ形状です。

ケとは、普段の生活である「日常」の事。
